Shed publishes what it charges at every dose of both drugs it sells. It also leads with its longest committed rate, so the figure you meet first is not the figure that buys a single month.

Verdict: Choose Shed if you want to know what a higher dose costs before you commit, because it publishes what it charges at every dose of both drugs. Read the term column first: its cheaper rates are committed plans billed as one payment, and the month-to-month figure is the dearest of them.

  • Publishes what it charges at every dose, so a higher dose has a knowable cost before you sign up.
  • Prices both semaglutide and tirzepatide, so changing molecule does not mean changing provider.
  • Publishes a month-to-month rate for both drugs, so you can buy a month without agreeing to a term.
  • No FDA action and no lawsuit on its record.

No cancellation fee. HSA/FSA accepted where the provider states it; we have not established whether insurance is billed.

Where it falls short

Shed's cheaper rates are per-month figures on committed plans, and the term is billed as one payment. The figure in the price column is not the figure that leaves your account. The plan rows carry the total, and that is the one to read first. Two other things are unsettled. We could not establish a legal entity for Shed, so we have no corporate name to look up behind the brand. And we have not verified whether a platform fee applies: its own plan pages disclose none, which is its statement rather than our finding.

  • Its cheaper per-month rates are committed plans, and the whole term is billed as one payment. The plan rows carry that total.
  • The month-to-month route is the dearest one it publishes, on both drugs.
  • Every plan is a compounded preparation rather than the branded product.
  • We could not establish a legal entity, so we have no company name behind the brand to look up.
  • We have not established whether a platform or consultation fee applies. Shed's own plan pages disclose none, and a fee we have not verified is not a fee of zero.

A correction we left in the change log

Our first read of Shed recorded the figure its page led with as a starting monthly price. A closer read of the plan pages put that figure where it belongs, on the committed plans. The monthly row moved up to what a single month costs. Both revisions sit in the change log rather than being quietly overwritten. The old values are the rates the committed plans now carry, so we read the first pass as our own mistake and not a price rise by Shed. It is also why the term column is the first thing we tell you to read.

Questions readers ask

How much does Shed cost a month?

The table above lists every plan we could read and date. Two figures matter on each row: the per-month rate and, on a committed plan, the total billed up front. The rows carry both.

Is Shed's cheapest plan the one to pick?

Only if you intend to stay the whole term, because the cheaper rates are committed plans billed as one payment. What happens if you stop early is a term we have not established, so read Shed's own terms before you pay.

Does Shed take insurance?

No. Our record has it as cash-pay, so nothing is filed on your behalf.

Why does Shed score well when its first-year cost is not the lowest?

Because the rubric weights disclosure and the company record, not cost alone. Shed prices every dose and has no action on its record. The score panel on this page breaks out each criterion, so you can see where the number comes from.

Where it prescribes

No state coverage on file for Shed. Nothing published
